Riley Cooper Twitter:
"I am so ashamed and disgusted with myself," Cooper said in a statement. "I want to apologize. I have been offensive. I have apologized to my coach, to Jeffrey Lurie, to Howie Roseman and to my teammates. I owe an apology to the fans and to this community. I am so ashamed, but there are no excuses. What I did was wrong and I will accept the consequences."

So...what will be the consequences?

Apparently fined by the FO.  No $ amount disclosed.  What a farging fool.

Also...saw this question asked and it's a good one:  What if he concluded his enunciation of the slur with "ah" instead of "er?"  Different?

They're discussing that right now on the fanatic. "ah" vs. "er"

And what is Jackson's excuse?  Is it okay for the black kid to "keep it real" but not for the white kid?

It's bullshtein hypocrisy of the worst kind.

Tomahawk

Not really...we, as white men, have never had people go to the other side of the street when we're walking down the street, or looked at like we're automatically shoplifters at a store, or whatever racist bullshtein black people still have to endure. Black people use that word in a way white people just can't.

Sorry Rome, permission will not be granted for use of the 'N' word in public.
