are they really better than the giants?

since the giants have gotten ross burrell and lopez they have been a different team

even with the giants being a train wreck early they still only lost five more games than the phils

seems to me it two evenly matched teams

ummm yes the phillies are better than a team that starts edgar renteria, juan uribe, pablo sandoval, aaron rowand and uses burrell and huff defensively.

poke holes in the phillies all you want (they are most certainly there), but its not as bad as that

with that said i have a good feeling about the bats tonight. dont know why. blind homerism maybe but i just figure theyre gonna win this game 6-3 or something. and yes 6 runs qualifies as a good feeling. its that bad.

im not saying the phillies cant win the series but i refuse to believe they are any better of a team than the giants right now...both teams have played great baseball for the last couple months...they are essentially equal

newsflash: this isnt the phillies lineup of the last few years

whats realyl scary is that baumgarner had a better era this year than lincecum or cain
