Hamels is a mentally weak leaking vadge and everyone knows it. He's the definition of a front runner. He's also a pretty good pitcher. But if your definition of "destroying the guy" is calling him a vadge every once in a while, then yes, I destroy him. Or you could try to have some of that perspective you and the Schwartz keep preaching and realize there's a difference between whats said here on a play by play basis, and what the Cavs owner did to Lebron over the weekend...which was destroy him.

It's not like Phreak has forgotten that there's still the rest of the game to go, or that Hamels was brilliant otherwise. Just in that time, at that moment, he loaded the bases with 0 outs after getting the lead. Excuse Phreak for commenting on it, he must think Hamels sucks all the time!!

But let's stick with Romey's last two posts on this one, as they're pretty much spot on.

I did not call him a vadge today. I said the guy loaded the goddamn bases after they staked him to a lead and lamented the fact that he did not come out and shut them down.

In the past he has shown signs of being a vadge.

And dopes like you do the same thing with McNabb.

I dont get the big deal of how I react or what I say because in the end I am still a fan who lives and dies on each game.

HOF Brown, of, Phillies (Triple-A Lehigh Valley): The power has come through as the Phillies predicted, as Brown has started to fill out at age 22 and surpassed his career home runs total in his first 65 games at Double-A Reading. Then he went out and hit four in his first 13 games after a promotion to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. He ranks 10th in the minors in OPS, and he's doing it with big tools at upper levels. His still-raw defensive skills (his defensive tools are fine) are his only major flaw.
