well as bad it is obviously this is the point they were at least year and they are essentially in a wash for the wild card with ny, stl, la, col, etc.

lowell is banged up, old, unproductive and has less than 20 abs at a 3b this year. what exactly is he going to do here besides suck and get injured.

jose lopez from seattle, wiggington from bodymore....those are the guys to go after. in fact the deal should have already been made.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Wigginton and Lopez would be good options too.

Lee & Lopez!

The BIGSTUD

Wigginton has been as bad as you can be in the past month. Like almost Dobbs bad. He hasn't hit a HR in a month last time I looked which was a few days ago.

I'd rather have Tejada. At least he doesn't strike out and can hit for around .280-.290. His defense will be a liability though unlike Lopez.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

You complain about them trading Lee
Now you're complaining about them possibly getting him back

As long as they don't give up HOF Brown everyone else in the minors is expendable. After Brown = Cupboard bare

ice grillin you

im not complaining about getting him back i just want that transaction to happen so it elevates the original trade to an all time sports gaffe...right now its only just the worst in philly history...

youre the worst sports fan in philly history

in fact you so clearly dont want the phillies to win id be hard pressed to call you a philly sports fan

maybe you should become a fan of crappy fantasy baseball teams because you certainly got that down

Yep, the reacquisition of Lee would be awfully awesome. Amaro would jump atop the list for all time boneheaded moves with that. It wouldn't be bad to get him back, but to trade him and cry poor for the farm system...and then get him back? LOL.

Here's the thing though - Seattle wants a "big bat" in return. So who're they going to give up besides HOF Brown?

This ATL series is major. Come out and shtein the bed and they're probably better off selling - as sickening as it is to think about them throwing in the towel...

Drabek throws a no-no

Madson is close to coming back

JA Happ, Mr. Nibbles, has sucked ass in his rehab starts and there is discussion about optioning him to the minors. Good.

QuoteFor most of the season, conventional wisdom suggested that Kyle Kendrick was only occupying a spot in the rotation until Happ was ready to return. But Kendrick tossed the first complete game of his career in a 12-4 win over the Pirates on Saturday. Since his first two starts of the season, an ugly pair of outings in which he allowed 11 runs to the Nationals, Kendrick is 5-3 with a 3.90 ERA. During that same timespan, Hamels is 4-7 with a 3.95 ERA.

Yeah.

If the weather holds out I'm going to see the Clearwater Philliethreshers tonight.
