Per Davey Lopes?

That's going to suck if he's out now.  Grits played like a madman the last homestand.

Where is that icehole Ruben Amaro at saying that Charlie is not a doctor?

Mister Grit is apparently going to be out 6-8 weeks per Zolecki's speculation on WIP this morning.

I hope that's wrong. They cannot cannot cannot go that amount of time with Double Play Valdez and/or Mario Mendoza Castro at 3rd/2nd.

Hopefully Polanco's elbow gets right and they can move him to 2B and trade for a 3B.

can you imagine if jimmys calf explodes again...that infield would be epic

S'ok.  HOF Heyward is going to the DL too.  These fagwads can keep pace with Atlanta.

Quote1. Domonic Brown, OF, Philadelphia. Is there anything he can't do? He's destroying everything in his path in Double-A and is probably just some defensive refinements away from being big league ready. I don't think he's next off the list to the big leagues, but with Raul Ibanez providing below-average offense and defense in left, I'd have to think the Phils are looking at Brown for a second-half callup. Previous ranking: No. 7

22. Jarred Cosart, RHP, Philadelphia. One of the best fastballs of any starter in the minors, carving through the Sally League in his first full season in pro ball. Previous ranking: NR

check out the promotion on August 22....Cole Purse Day (they're calling it a "lunch bag cooler" but cmon)

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
