this is what happens when the media makes a huge deal out of people running onto the field

well done, way to give losers the idea
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Uhh...why not? He was only at 111 pitches and was still hittin 93 on the gun in the 8th.

What he shouldn't have done was start crying because of the interruption.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

The fan running out came before the 0-2 count.

the fan had nothing to do with it

the camera kept on hamels and he never got rattled, didnt even look at it.

cole is not a 120 pitch pitcher. right around the 100 mark is when you take him out. you got the extra inning out of him, should have called it at that.

though, i do not blame manuel for leaving him in. even a tired cole is a better bet than anyone in that pen.

Were you even watching? The ump called time right as Hamels was in his wind up, and Hamels hung his head like a little bitch. You could tell he was crying on the inside about getting interrupted.

He was still hitting 93-94 in the 8th...he wasn't tired.

hes never looked rattled in his life...thats his MO...he socal cool...but hes also so cal soft and makes awful 0-2 pitches because a fan broke his concentration

how could you have watched the 8th inning and thought he should have come out...so at 111 he was great and at 113 (and 114) he was done?

For crying out loud.  He got the damn change up to the first hitter, and it got hit.

The second double wasn't even a bad pitch - Molina went after it and just got it up the line.

MDS

not about being tired, about hitting a wall

his wall has always been 100 pitches. thats what it is for most pitchers. under normal circumstances hamels isnt out there for the 9th.

he wasnt being a little twat here. just simply got beat. it happens.

Last night he looked good.  Tonight he looks like the Lidge from 2008.
