I hope the icehole channels his inner-Ollie Perez and gets walkariffic....but I cringe to think of him mowing 'em down.

Yeah, Sanchez is the pitcher in this series that scares me the most.  The Phils bailed Timmay out tonight imo.  They woulda/shoulda/coulda hit him up for 5 or 6 runs.

Oh well...I still think they will win. But damn, they need Jimmy to be the spark. I don't dig him in the 6 hole. I know with the hammy and all he probably needs to be there, but I would take a shot with him back up top.

Agreed that Sanchez is the one that can end up just owning these bats.  12 k's is not out of the question - of witch 7 will be choke and Raul.

Why is no one calling out Ibanez on that weak attempt at Burrell's fly ball?  I realize he's not the best defensive outfielder but what a zesty attempt with that little lame ass leap.

I wouldn't call it a "weak" attempt.  He pretty much jumped into the wall....which I think was probably unnecessary since the ball hit his glove near his chest.  I was wondering why he jumped and the only thing I can come up with is that it was easier to brace for impact against the wall rather than running right into it.  I dunno.....maybe I'm reaching on that one. 

Regardless, I'm not going to knock anyone for not making that catch, especially an 80 year old geriatric who is an average (at best) outfielder.

Vic and Rollins were neato last night.  Howard got himself a meaningless double early and did nothing afterwards.

The hits were there for the taking, but this offense just isn't playing very well.  Does not bode well.

Tough loss for sure but it's just one.  This team is resilient as hell and will start knocking runs in in bunches.

I agree that Rollins needs to sit, however.  He's utterly useless at the plate right now and although Cholly loves him like a long-lost love child, it's clear Valdez is the better option.
