hes been goin mostly 5-6 innings in the minors so at the end of six you are thinking they might pull him...hes pitched the minimum for the win been amazing lets get him out while hes ahead...but nope they bring him back for seven and he strikes out the side...dirty

watched the strasburg game at a bar with a pittsburgh crowd

universal amazement and hate at this kid. the guy is disgustingly good and at this point i'd be shocked if the rest of his career didnt bear that out.

The drooling over Strasburg is farging ridiculous. In the same token, when he gets rocked for the first time, the bashing about how much he sucks is going to be equally ridiculous.

ESPN has ruined sports. It started with Favre and has branched out way too far and message boards and socialites across the globe have caught the disease.

If a rookie debut that features 14k and 0 walks isn't drool worthy, then I don't know what is.  Yeah, ESPN goes overboard on way too many things, which is a shame because this kid is about as legit as they come but because ESPN over sensationalizes everything, it makes it far less effective for a story like this that is actually deserving of excessive coverage. 

I hate the fact that he could own this division for the next 5 years until the Yankees sign him.

Drooling permitted after that performance.  I had to do a double take when they said 14 K's in 7 innings.  I'm sure once teams get a look at him he may not be as dominant but that was pretty amazing tonight.

no its not...people have been talking about last night for three years now...just cause you just heard of him a few months ago via espn doesnt mean he wasnt incredibly hyped (and for good reason) for a long time before that....prior to ever being drafted and when no one on espn even knew who he was outside of their seamheads like bussa bust and kirk-jenn he was a legend

like sarge said espn def goes overboard sometimes but this is not even close to their doing...kid is hyped because hes been better than any baseball pitching prospect EVER for a couple years now
