Chris Lane, a 22-year-old from Australia, was shot and killed Friday afternoon in Duncan, Okla., about 85 miles away from where he played baseball at East Central University in Ada, Okla. Police Chief Danny Ford told ABC News that Lane was randomly targeted and shot in the back, left to die by the side of the road. Three teens, ages 15, 16 and 17, were arrested Friday night on first-degree murder charges, Ford said. Their names were not released. Ford told ABC News that the teens "were bored and just wanted to see someone die" when they spotted Lane jogging alongside the road. Lane was visiting his girlfriend in Duncan, a community of 24,000 in southern Oklahoma. He died at a local hospital shortly after arrival.

The infuriating part is that the city gov't is basically selling something that isn't their's to begin with for $134 to an "investment" company and then it's legal for that company to bury the owner is thousands of dollars of bogus legal fees and essentially drive the homeowner into foreclosure. 

Since when does the gov't need to rely on private businesses to enforce their policies?  I already had a problem with property taxes in the first place, but now I hate them even more.
