It's easy for people who don't ski or don't have the interest in it to say how boring it is to watch.  I kinda get it.  They're wrong, though.

Lindsey Vonn's run yesterday was epic.  She was basically skiing on one leg and was still faster than everyone on the hill.   Amazing.

Didn't you hear? It's obvious the leg injury was a fake and the putting most of the weight on one leg was an optical illusion made up by NBC to drum up some interest in the Olympics.

this Canada vs Switzerland game was crazy, went to a shoootout so far, Crosby of course just scored, but the Swiss were amazing

It's astoundingly stupid, but then again, NBC is the same network whose executives thought putting Jay Leno on five nights a week in prime time was a good idea.

They're reasoning is so they dont have stoppages of play every 5 minutes so they can get their sponsors ad's in.  So instead they'll put it on a network with the broadcasting clarity of me spooging on a window for 2 weeks straight and trying to view thru it.  Well Done NBC, i hope Comcast cant buy you and you farging fail

i guess tomorrow is the 30th anniversary of the miracle on ice.  sportscenter did a nice little piece on it this morning but i'd imagine that's something that's almost impossible to farg up.
