He acted how we would've as fans if given the chance.  His mistake was filming it and putting it on the site...

But he's not a fan, Ed. He's supposed to be one of the "faces" of the Eagles organization. Much moreso than some random handicapped dude on Facebook.

Different situation.  Dave didn't spit on the Eagles logo...

Glad to see there was no punishment.  This whole thing was overblown...

Farg Dave. Fire his lame ass. Life would be so much nicer if he just became non-existent in the football world.

Let DeMarcus Ware take a baseball bat to Spudz computer where he creates those weekly intros to PE.com and we can call it even.

The problem with firing spadaro because he's an icehole, is that whoever replaces him will be the same. Spadaro is that way because the eagles demand it, and so would be anyone else.

you can be a homer and be a good guy (see phreak)

i just cant believe he has directives from above to be a cock

its not his opinions its that hes so farging condecending and suck a fleshpop...he was an unreal icehole to people when they used to (maybe they still do) have that show where he would take calls from the fans

one of the funnest things ever was his epic maltdown on that show...it wasnt nearly as long but it rivaled beano cooks in intensity

Thanks, buddy!

Dave's cool. When he's in a one on one setting or off the record, he's just like us. He rips away and tells how it really is.

Good call on Beano Cook. That guy is hilarious.

MDS

if spads got canned some other little shmuck like chris mcpherson would take his place and act just a douchey. face it, its a douchey, arrogant organization and thats exactly how its mouthpiece is gonna act.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

You know your resume would be submitted faster than you could book that ticket to Brownsville, Toddy.

Patrick Crayton is the Cowboys version of Freddie Mitchell. He's always got an opinion on everything;

The Eagles are trying to put the kibosh on Wednesday's spitting incident by a team employee.  Andy Reid brushed off a question about it, and the Eagles players didn't have anything to say.  That's to be expected.

The story won't quite die yet though.  It's created a stir in both towns, and Cowboys receiver Patrick Crayton had interesting thoughts on the matter.

"I don't even know what the repercussions are, what the Philly people did to him, the owner and everything. I don't know if he's been fired or fined or anything. If there was no action, then that let's you know what the owner of Philly and the people up there think about it as well.''

The Eagles, in fact, announced that website editor Dave Spadaro will not be punished and will attend Sunday's game.  (We recommend a helmet.)

Crayton contrasts that lack of action to last offseason when an Eagles game-day employee was fired for a Facebook message criticizing the loss of Brian Dawkins.

"My thing is, if they fired a guy over MySpace [actually Facebook] over a former player, and this guy comes down here and spits on another team's logo and nothing is done about that, it let's us know what Philly thinks about it,'' Crayton said.

Crayton is right. You can spit on someone else's logo, but can't spit where you eat and expect to survive.

Sgt PSN

i wouldn't really compare crayton to mitchell.  crayton is still playing in the nfl afterall.  plus, he has a point and it's spot on.

as much as i hate dallas, the trash talking and disrespecting should be left to the players and coaches, not some glorified pr guy.  the lack of punishment makes the front office even more of a joke and disgrace than they were just 24 hours ago and makes me want to associate myself with them even less.
