have you not been reading these threads?  i haven't seen anyone give the defense a free pass.  i guess all that talk about the linebackers sucking or sheldon brown getting burnt so bad that he's darker than wesley snipes doesn't count.

WTF??? The defense gave up 7 points in the first qtr and got a huge turnover to stop a larger deficit. THe offense is the largest to blame, they scored NO fargING POINTS! NONE

the defense gave up 24 points.  not a pretty number but certainly one that the highest scoring team in eagles history should be able to overcome. 

and if the defense giving up a td on the opening drive of the game set the tone for mcnabb and the offense, then farg all of them for being even bigger Hoydas than i thought.

i actually enjoy brussel sprouts quite a bit.  They're better when sauteed with olive oil and garlic though.

its not just about stats....the fact is the defense gave up a thousand yards from the first whistle....that shtein dictates an entire game and thats what happened today

the eagles put up 14 quick points against the giants and the defense wasn't giving them an inch to start the game.  that didn't stop sheli from throwing for 500 yards and at least making a game of it. 

bottom line is that the eagles got punched in the mouth early in the game and threw in the farging towel.

bottom line is the strength of the team is obviously the offense.  the D is sketch at best.  i said earlier during the game you know its over with 10 minutes into the 3rd.  the problem is the score was only 17-0.  not pretty but certainly not insurmountable with weapons like pimp and mac.  the whole team showing was a disgrace, but the offense is certainly more to blame.
