i wonder if you understand the definitions of the words pathetic or laughable.  pathetic is an unerring faith in a team that has consistently crushed your hopes and dreams.  laughable is expecting a different outcome when the same road is taken again and again and again and again.

whatever, though.  i enjoyed the last 10 seconds of the game and hated the hour previous to that.  i guess that makes me pathetic and/or laughable.

i can live with that.

MDS

well of course not. and the funny part was they didnt even play awful. the freakish penalty off the interception and the macho fumble gave up 14 points and took the offense out of the game. those kinds of swings happen. they recovered from it and won the game. not sure why you must whine...
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I saw this when it happened and said that he must have been pointing to Darth. That's awesome.

QuoteSheldon signals Dawk

After administering a big hit on Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall in the opening quarter, Eagles cornerback Sheldon Brown turned to the Denver bench and pointed to Dawkins.

"The reason why I pointed at him was because he taught me how to play only that way," Brown said. "And that was to punish the guy with the ball. . . . If you punish him, you set the tempo and tone and it affects the course of the game."

Marshall appeared to alligator-arm, meaning not reach out for passes, and dropped a few balls after Brown's hit.

Brown, who notched two other tackles, hurt his ankle in the third quarter and left for one play. He returned the next series, however, and played the rest of the way. Brown has now played in 139 straight games, including the postseason, and is a candidate to reach his first Pro Bowl. Rosters will be announced tomorrow.

actually, that's insanity.

insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome - einstein

I watched the game with Bobby Taylor's brother today. He came into our sports bar. Cool ass dude. Sorry, no Sarge-like pics though.

Sav Rocca sucks

Victor Harris, his nickname is revoked, played like shtein.

Why wasn't Sean Jones starting? Why continue to field kicks with Macho Harris? Why is Westbrook even on the field? McCoy was running great and then they went and tried Westbrook, who IMO looks done. Yeah he's been out for awhile but he looked cooked in the beginning of the year as well. I love the guy, and maybe he can come back next year and make plays like he used to, but damn for the remainder of this year, please use Weaver and McCoy and use them a lot. Hell I'd rather see Westbrook line up as the 4th receiver or 3rd. Come on Reid! Get your ass in gear christ

I don't know what game you were watching but Westbrook looked pretty good with the ball in his hands.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

maybe he was top heavy with the 90lb helmet he had on, but no question dook runs petrified the rest of the season :see press conference.

He's been running petrified all season before the concussions. Yeah he was injured, I understand that but would you rather a healthy and able Weaver and McCoy take the majority of the runs or a hesitant westbrook. and we're taking about playoffs here! playoffs!

These numbers don't define pretty good and I watched the entire long ass game. He didn't resemble anything of his former self nor did he look like himself early in the season.

Westys stats yesterday:

9 rushes 32 yards. long run of 9 yards
2 catches 6 yards. long of 5

For the year Westy's stats look like this:

G      Rush  Yds   Avg     LG     TD     Rec     Avg  TD
2009    7    56    257    4.6    25    1    21    7.7    1

He was not having a stellar season up until his concussion. He shouldn't be taking the majority of the rushes. I don't care how much of a man crush you have on the guy. He's not 100%! That being said we are basically in the playoffs. Would you rather take a chance on a Westbrook or McCoy/Weaver combo. I'd much rather have Westbrook as the #3 option and maybe even taking 4th receiver position from time to time at this current moment.

Maybe he has a huge game next week, who the farg knows! He has been slow, timid and non productive all year when McCoy and Weaver have gotten it done reasonably well when given the opportunity. I'd rather bet on McCoy and Weaver, who may not be as good as a healthy Westbrook. A banged up Westbrook is not even a shell of a healthy Westbrook from years past.

This, and it was farging cold with the wind.  I thought the 1st quarter was the longest quarter ever, but the 3rd took the cake
