Can someone explain the third string QB rule?  If Vick is the third string QB and he comes in what happens?  McNabb can't come back in?

Don  Ho-That is correct. If the emergency QB is used, neither of the other two QB's can re-enter the game.



HoF Celek getting open today. He'd been getting double teamed a lot earlier in the season but Jackson being Pimp the last month has started to open things up for him.

yep.

#1 and #2 on the depth chart can rotate in and out as much as they want.  once the #3 comes in, then neither 1 or 2 can re-enter.  that's why koy detmer was the #2 qb for all of those years when it was known that a serious mcnabb injury meant the #3 qb would be the actual backup.  but since neckbeard was the holder for pat/fg attempts, he had to be 2nd on the depth chart so that he could come on and off the field for kicks.
