I'm actually sad this morning envisioning Darth coming out of the "wrong" locker room. :(

Good thing he was washed up when we let him go... :paranoid

Oh, I'm sure IGY will have some garbage comment to make it seem like his stats mean nothing this year.

He really wouldn't have made much of a difference to our defense this year. He's great against the run and bad against the pass just like the rest of the defense.

Wrong.

I'm not so sure what difference he would have made in the losses suffered earlier this year. Maybe shoring-up the suspect underneath. But now, heading down the stretch I'd mostly prefer he were still in green. Especially given the wasted roster spots and all the scheckels in Banners tight little fist that would have made retention easy.

Ronnie Lott still had a lot good football in him and those fans around here in whinerland agree his early term was a mistake. He ended up having a couple more decent years on a then-middling team. Yet his leadership to their d has never been replaced. Same here - not the end of the world, but still a mistake.

Regardless, though, I hope Pimp burns his ass good today. Eagles 34, Donkeys 28

Because so many of the guys taking dawkins' place this year were successful in that spot.

Or have you all forgotten that no one can tackle for shtein on the team this year? ESPECIALLY in the secondary.  ::)

That's not the right question.  The correct question is would Dawkins have been substantially better?  I'm not so sure.

It's also not always a good thing when safeties lead a team in tackles.  Could be that the line sucks, and he's getting that tackle 10 yards down field.

His leadership has definitely been missed, but I'm not sure what he had left in the tank was much better than the crap we have now.

Mikell is a product of starting next to Dawkins. He isn't having the season he had last year, which some can argue was a pro bowl year for Mikell. Thankfully Sean Jones has stepped into the spot, which he should of had all year, but recently has whiffed on some plays. I'd much rather have Dawkins at FS than Sean Jones. There really is no argument here. Children please.

Kyle Orton is their QB so 14 points may be generous.

Mikell's season is pretty much a mirror of last season minus the 2 sacks from last year...
