perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Yeah, wtf with TBA?  Is this the week NBC/NFL can start picking the Sunday night matchup they want?

MDS

they pick the week 17 matchup the monday before, to ensure they get some kind of significance. thats the tba vs. tba thing i really didnt think that was too hard to under...oh right

they can start "flexing" games in week 9 or 10. they have a game already earmarked and can get rid of it if they want. cbs and fox can protect certain games or whatever, but basically they take a 3rd or 4th rate game from sunday afternoon and move it.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

i believe they have until 12 days before week 11 begins to lock in their games

i dont know the week 14 schedule but my guess is there arent many good fox games...and gb is a ratings winner and chicago a huge market so they locked in that

What season was it when they had two teams with like 5 wins combined on MNF in December because the teams had gotten zesty since the previous season?  I just remember chuckling at Madden and the other guy trying to talk the teams up.
Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad.

My money is on the Browns being involved.

There's usually at least one stinker MNF game in December. A good late December one from 2005 was the 3-10 Packers getting blown out 48-3 by the 4-9 Ravens.

That primetime game against the Seahawks a few years back was a gem to watch too.

Amazing that McNabb wasn't able to win a Super Bowl with guys like those around him.
