The Eagles have been very good against the run.

We KNOW that the linebackers are horrible.

So either Bunkley and Patterson are pretty damn good or you're a retard who thinks the opposing team running backs are just tripping over themselves.

ice grillin you

lol @ bunkley and patterson being "studs"...they are good dt's nothing less nothing more and are certainly not playmakers

Definitely not playmakers.  Nasty against the run?  Yeah they are.  Their pass rush is relatively nonexistant, but they are definitely one of the best DT pairs in the NFL.

Bunkley gets a lot of push on the interior.

But I think we all know how good Igy and Rome's talent evaluation is. Just look at the Celek topic for reference.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

So they can't rush the passer but they're one of the best DT pairs in the NFL?

I see.

no they arent nasty against anything...again they are fine tackles...but to call them studs or nasty is just retarded...and the linebackers suck but their "strength" is actually against the run...where they completely blow is in coverage and getting to the quarterback

It would be great if they were great run stopping and pass rushing DT's, but you can count how many of them there are on one hand.  So yea, they are one of the best combos.

I said nasty against the run, which they are, not nasty in general.

ice grillin you

well fair enough but they arent even nasty against the run...in fact i barely ever notice them against the run...if youre nasty youre in the backfield all the time like a haynesworth wilfork tommie harris ngata ect...bunkley and patterson are so far below those guys level its not even funny

and im not even ripping them...im happy with their games and they are way down the list of things to even consider changing on the team...but just know what they are before you start going on and on about them

We'll see.

If they ever get a half decent cast around them we'll see what they really have.

You mean like this bit of brilliance on your part?

I'm not saying he is or isn't going to be better than Patrick, but to claim he sucks without seeing him in at least one preseason game is ridiculous.

Clown.

This conversation has gotten pretty darn nasty.

Are you stupid? I'm the only one who defended Celek in the topic and you are calling me a clown? Of course it is brilliance. As per usual for me. Everyone else called the guy a bust before he even stepped on the field. Don't come to a heavyweight debate against a heavyweight debater with featherweight material, little man.
