yes, though chicago and philly both have significant versus penetration because of comcast. so that helped. espn 24/7 hype machine would also increase numbers.

3.6 mil isnt far off/might actually meet a division round playoff game, specifically between two smaller market teams.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

yeah last year yankees twins averaged like 4.O i think...and most other series were in the low threes

One thing that ESPN has really pissed me off with is how they dont show the Playoff highlights until they get thru the Yankees highlights and Redsox.  Its nothing new, but its the playoffs douchebags

It's not surprising at all considering ESPN has no incentive whatsoever to show NHL highlights.  They tried to lowball the NHL into taking a zesty deal and the NHL said farg you and took their business elsewhere.

And good for them.  ESPN is the Fox News of sports journalism.

the clinching game will lead sc...but otherwise they have no reason to put it at the top of the broadcast...not enough people care

nhl network - if an actual replay of the game isnt on it then highlites of the previous game are

ESPN offered the NHL an almost $200 million deal to be on their network, Bettman held out so ESPN started airing Poker, which got much better ratings. ESPN pulled their offer off the table and the NHL wound up signing with VS. for around $70 million. Major farg up on many levels by Bettman. ESPN has to promote their station and interests first so not showing the NHL highlights till later is no big deal. I rarely watch Sportscenter so it never bothered me but I've heard plenty of people gripe about it.

i used to be pissed about it...but its so 1997 to get mad about things like that because now the league has an entire farging channel dedicated to it...how could you still care or complain

so yeah back in the day when this wasnt the case id get pissed having to wait until the bottom of the hour to get hockey highlites...who cares now

The NHL should be on NHL Network.  NHL Network is the shtein, i watch it all the time.  On the Fly is good, they have good guests on NHL Live, and even PowerPlay is pretty good.  Plus playing a ton of old school games is fun to watch

Morganti and Clement think Chicago wins tonight

Seabiscuit36

im on board with that, United Center will be rocking.  They flyers need to score early to get the fans out of it.

chicago should win for no other reason than simple odds...what are the chances of a team as good as them losing three games in a row...not very high...then again since the shootout nothing having to do with the flyers has gone the way it should

Flyers have defied the odds more than i think i've ever seen a team have their run.  You can get tickets off stub hub for this game in chicago for 360 bucks right now a piece.
