perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

lol - russell is right - you really do live in your own world, dude.

Perfect example of how big a tool you are. You have absolutely nothing to contribute to the thread,  so you attempt (twice) to make a joke that no one will find humorous. Pretty obvious nobody on this board gives a flying farg about what you say and everyone generally considers you to be a douche, so why keep coming?

QB Eagles

Quote from: ice grillin you on September 26, 2009, 02:07:03 AMi think from 87 to 91 the eagles had the most wins in the nfl other than sf and buffalo

lol... you're as overly nostalgic for those 80s teams as you are overly pessimistic about today's philly teams.

Eagles didn't even have the most wins in their division back then... Giants, taterskins, Saints, Bears, Oilers all easily had more wins than the Eagles

88-92 they had 52 wins...name the teams in the nfl who had more?

check your shtein youngin

oh and romey you dont win 52 games in five years with horrid offensive lines....no matter how good the d was...im not saying it was great or even good but its awfulness is greatly exaggerated

The evidence would seem to point in the direction of Randall and Buddy being tremendous chokers.

ice grillin you

they never made it far enough to choke....zero playoff wins

but other than the 83 sixers and possibly the 87 flyers they were the greatest thing to ever happen to the city of philadelphia

No, they choked in the first round of the playoffs which makes it even more pathetic.  They are basically Tony Romo and Wade Phillips.

Mikey, when were you born, 1991?  Dont post about what you havent lived thru

hes had two highlite reel plays in his career...mark carrier ankles and 11 second dallas scramble....randall had games where he had that many highlites

by all means say mcnabbs a better qb but please dont ever compare their entertainment value

Wasn't it a 14 second scramble in Dallas? To me, 11 seconds = boring; 14 seconds, now that's entertainment

Rome

Heller, David Alexander, Ron Solt & Mike Schad = farging horrendous.

Give them an offensive line with the same level of talent as the defensive line had and that team wins multiple Super Bowls.

Fact is your hero Buddy Ryan never gave a shtein about the offense.  All he cared about was that they didn't farg up and spoil it for his defense.  He was just as stubborn as Reid only not 1/10th as successful.  End of story.

mpmcgraw

So they had the most wins between 88-92 but were never good enough to win a playoff game?

MadMarchHare

As painful as games were to watch w/ Randall and Buddy (nothing ever seemed easy then), they were exciting, you gotta admit.
Anyone but Reid.
