2009 Roster Moves

With the McNabb injury and only having two active QBs, they have to make a decision on who to bring in this week. During Reid's PC he was asked about Feeley and he did not commit to him. But he seemed to hint that other teams were sniffing around him as well, which lead up to a question about whether AJ would prefer to go to a club with a long term option versus only being on the Eagles for a couple weeks, which he didn't really answer.

Reid also mentioned them looking at the OL situation, which I guess meant adding another OL depending on what the deal is with Andrews.

He professed his undying love and support for Kolb. He said he will be the guy while McNabb is out. So if AJ is not going to take the job (if offered), they will have to make a move.

Also, if they activate Vick so he can practice they would have to cut another person. SO who would the two cuts be?

Eldra Buckley
Antonio Dixon
Sean Jones (but with Demps hurting, I doubt it)
Dmitri Patterson (starting gunner)
Moise Fokou
Mike McGlynn

They could also put Andrews on IR...

So Baskett is being shopped and if no takers are found, apparently he will be cut?

Like the Garcia signing, that mildly surprises me. Baskett plays STs well unlike Reggie Brown.

Maybe they won't cut Baskett or Brown, they just figure that they have value so that is why they are trying to trade one of them.

baskett is obviously expendable...not sure if having garcia is more valuable than having him, but at worst its a wash..obviously getting rid of reggie would be better, but really only so i still have the chance to bump into kenda during a tailgate
