With the way this guy is playing I am not going to try to predict anything.  It will be interesting to see how he responds in a game if he has a turnover or two.  We just have to hope that he continues playing this way and gets a Lombardi Trophy for Philly.

Which is worse: the Eli sulk or the Donnie Mac beaming smile?

Drunkmasterflex

Has to be the smile, just because he was an Eagle for so long.

QB Eagles

Andy/Marty did a brilliant job playcalling last week. At the very least, we know THAT aspect ain't gonna continue forever.

vicks yet to face a top 15 defense in the four games he started and finished which is one of the reasons this game is so huge....if he comes out and lights up the giants then holy shtein its will be ON!...i just dont expect that to happen....

ill be happy with an average to normal game from him and a win...with eli being a guy that can easily implode vick could actually have a bad game and still make the big play when needed to win...and thats an amazing feeling to have...

if the game is close in the second half and both qb's are plugging along who could you have more confidence in than michael vick to make a play that will pull you away or go ahead in the game?

this small picture is so much bigger than the big picture to me....i dont care how good hes playing right now or what his stats are thus far what makes him so great to me is that because of his legs and playmaking upside at ANYTIME you expect him to and have confidence that he will make a big play in a big spot...similar to the way i felt about mcnabb circa 2000-2002

I can't believe you guys can't see the resemblance. Mike and Pootie were separated at birth.

Hm, still not funny. Maybe if you bring it up a few more times...

Vick gets better each week. If John Kitna can torch the Giants at home, they have been exposed, study that game on film and match up your guys with Dallas. We have an equally talented line up on offense minus the o-line but Vick is the X-factor. He's torching people on the run and in the air now. I agree, I still think Vick is gonna farg up, but he keeps proving me wrong week after week and only gets better. The Linc is going to be rocking come Sunday night after that huge win Monday. I just hope a Giants player starts a pre-game scuffle to get the boys fired up again. That team Monday night was unstoppable!

I just keep going back to all the trip ups that would cause a Donovan stinker

1.  Receivers couldn't get open...shouldn't happen now with all the weapons

2.  Accuracy on throws and killing drives...Vick is extremely more accurate than Donovan.  I don't think he's thrown one worm burner.
3.  Poor gameplan than Andy has no ability to change up on...still very much a possibility.

Vick's accuracy is the most surprising thing to me. In Atlanta, he was not an accurate passer at all. In the Green Bay game this year, he had a couple of throws that were way off, but they were far enough off that it was probably a miscommunication between QB and WR.

Vick looks like a completely different QB than he was in Atlanta. I didn't know accuracy was something that could be taught....don't remember his footwork in ATL but maybe that's what's helping now. His pocket presence is also much improved.

Regardless of how he became a legitimate QB, I'm off my hatewagon

its mike mayock whos usually pretty damn good but that was embarrassing

he also yells to stop the film then says "once he turns that way, hes DONE!!"....then he says pretty good coverage but you cant catch and throw it better than that...so how was he done if he had good coverage and the reason he was beat was because of a sick throw and catch

apparently if landry ran backwards the whole way, he would have beat desean to the ball

Mayock has been pretty shaky lately, but he's still on point. The other day he gave an overview of the wrong play, and realized it halfway in, then locked up, and then apologized and skipped the play entirely.

He butchered the whole Donovan/Vick thing, but I liked the breakdown of the Avant pass and the touchdown run. When he was talking about Landry turning his back and being done I think he's referring to the fact that once he turned he had no idea where Pimp or the ball were going, and after he turned around he was in chase mode, and as everyone knows, you aren't catching up to Pimp.

He could of run to a spot had he kept his eyes on where DeSean was going, or where Vick was throwing the ball, instead he allowed Pimp to close the gap and then had to try to out run DeSean to where the ball was going to be, and that wasn't happening.
