ice grillin you

no one ever said he sucked or was terrible....he just isnt that big of  loss

the other two linebackers juqua parker and herremans might be the only starters on the team i could have cared less abut losing...and i think akeem jordan showed more upside than bradley...not that he was a better player but just that im more interested in seeing how much better he can be...where as bradley who while solid was what he was

the only reason this injury registers at all is because of no suitable replacement not because bradley was some sort of special player in any way...but in the end the eagles will not lose any more or less games because of this injury which is how you ultimately judge the importance of it
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

To this day I think Bradley at the SAM, Gaither at the MIKE, and Jordan at the WIL with Gocong as a situational pass rusher was the way to go.

QuoteReid: Either Mays Or Gaither 'Can Do A Good Job'

Omar Gaither was the starting middle linebacker in the 2007 season. Joe Mays was the backup middle linebacker last year. He held that same post as this year's training camp commenced. Gaither entered this camp with the hope that he could win back the weakside linebacker job that he lost in the middle of last season to Akeem Jordan.

Head coach Andy Reid expressed confidence in either player to play the middle linebacker spot in the absence of Stewart Bradley. We know that Bradley suffered a knee injury on Sunday night. As to the severity and length of absence, there has been no official word from the Eagles. Mays took the reps with the first-team defense at middle linebacker on Monday.

"You have two guys that can do a good job, Mays and Omar," Reid said. "We'll look at that as we go down the road here."

Reid noted that right now he is focused on working in Gaither to battle Jordan at the weakside linebacker spot.

"I think both of them (Mays and Gaither) are effective and can be effective," Reid said. "Omar's competing at the WILL linebacker spot right now. He'll take some reps at the middle as he's been."

The BIGSTUD

This is a huge loss, but at the same time, if the Eagles say lose in the NFCCG again, it isn't going to be like "Damn, if we just had Stewart Bradley, we would've went to the Superbowl and won it!" He can be replaced. But it is still a big loss, because he was far and away the best linebacker, was starting to become a really good player, and now the entire unit is back to being a joke again.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Losing Midget face Bradley sucks, but I really like Joe Mays. And if OG wants to be relevant in the NFL again, he will bust his ass and not get trucked.

I thought Bradley has turned into a solid MLB. Stupid ACL tears.

at least the injury happened early in camp...so theres plenty of time to get gaither comfortable in the middle again
