That's exactly why I'm an Eagles fan.  All the hardware, baby!

Liverpool is a cool as team to follow. I was just watching a replay of the Liverpool v. Man-U match played on March 6, 2011 where Liverpool went up 2-0 in the first half. Crowd is insane.

I still haven't decided on a team. Even though Chicharito is on Man-U...it would be like supporting the Yankees of the EPL.

If I were to choose a team...it would be between Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, and a handful of others.

Jury is still out.

I have a brit neighbor who supports Tottenham.  He's a hard core soccer fan and a referree for local games.  Three or four times a week he refs games all over Maryland, and he's always got tickets to MLS or whatever friendlies are going on.  He's got a vanity Tottenham license plate, etc.

I got talked into supporting Tottenham this season by one of my co-workers who is limey as farg. Eliza Doolittle all over the place. They're a fun side to support though and any team with Peter Crouch gets entertainment points for employing a 6'7" giraffe.

The U.S. tied Argentina over the weekend.  Even though it was just a friendly it was still incredibly well played.   Tim Howard played like a God.

I watched the first 25 minutes or so of that game and can't believe that the US even got the ball in the box. Argentina probably had 80% of the possession while I was watching. At some point this team has to be something other than a gritty, counter-attacking squad. Nice draw though, should give them some confidence moving forward with a young team.

I also follow Fulham mostly because of Clint Dempsey.

U.S. is no longer the red headed step child of futbol. They should be able to build on the recent international success over the past few years. They have some promising talent on their squad.

The gold cup should be fun...not sure they get invited to Copa America though.

The talent is coming.  Giving Bradley the reigns instead of Jurgen Klinsmann was monumentally stupid, though.

Wow. I hate the red sox, I dislike Le Bron James.

Sorry Liverpool...I was thinking about making the case to choose you as my EPL team. Now, it just seems so tainted.

I think I might go Chelsea.

The New York Times also has a sizeable stake in Liverpool, it was recently revealed.  Don't know if that makes you feel better or worse.

I wouldn't recommend Chelsea though, especially since you're already a natural fan of the NY 'hood bearing the same name---get it?  get it?  it's a chuggie is a ghey joke---so what about Arsenal?

Or really...Tottenham.  Nothing wrong with that club.

Soccer players have terrible hands

QuoteMADRID -- Real Madrid waited 18 years to win back the Copa del Rey trophy -- only to drop the cup and watch it get crushed under the wheels of a bus.

Only hours after beating archrival Barcelona in the domestic cup final in Valencia, Madrid defender Sergio Ramos let the 33-pound cup fall from the top of the team bus during celebrations early Thursday morning in the capital.

The Copa del Rey trophy fell out of Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos' hands -- and under the team bus.  The front right wheel of the bus rolled over the trophy before the driver stopped.

Stupid soccer players.  Should have let the goalie hold it.

Chelsea gives up a quick goal to Man-U at :40 seconds in to the beloved 'Chicharito'.  Chelsea loses 2-1. Man-U...pretty much the Premier league champs.

farg me.  :boom

Man-U vs. Barcelona May 28th....should be incredible.
