Don Ho

Did another game get moved?  I am assuming that CBS has the double header that weekend.

QuoteEagles upgrade Martin Rucker, cut P.J. Hill

The Philadelphia Eagles have made a move that could be a strong hint that running back Brian Westbrook will be returning to action this week.

Running back P.J. Hill has been released, and his spot on the roster has been replaced by Martin Rucker, a tight end signed to the team's practice squad in September, two days after being waived by the Browns.

Rucker is the brother of former Panthers defensive end Mike Rucker, and he's also a former college teammate of receiver Jeremy Maclin.

Recent reports have indicated the Westbrook, who has missed several weeks after suffering a second concussion in two games, could be playing this weekend.

They finally have 3 TEs on the roster.

QuoteNew York Giants center Shaun O'Hara and Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Trent Cole were both fined for their fight during Sunday night's game.

Mike Garafolo of the Star-Ledger reports that Cole and O'Hara were fined $15,000 apiece.

The confrontation started when O'Hara shoved Cole in the face mask, and Cole escalated it by punching O'Hara twice. O'Hara then ripped Cole's helmet off.

Both players were penalized, and Cole was ejected. Cole was apologetic when asked about the incident, saying, "I embarrassed myself and my team."

Apologetic, why? It's not like he took a stupid penalty against the Giants late in the 4th quarter that cost them the game. At least not this time.

Even with missing two games, McNabb only needs to average 3 TDs against the Broncos and Cowboys to finish the season with 25 TDs. Didn't Phreak and igy bet on that?

I think we talked about it but can't remember if we bet it or not.

mike vick won the courage awards, as voted on by his teammates.

yup.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

QuotePETA says Vick getting Ed Block Courage Award is "not appropriate"
Posted by Mike Florio on December 23, 2009 2:41 PM ET
We mentioned earlier today the fact that the Eagles have voted quarterback Mike Vick the team's Ed Block Courage Award recipient, and to the chagrin of some of you (and the delight of others) we shared our opinions in this regard.

Now, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals have issued a response.

"The Philadelphia Eagles fumbled when they gave Michael Vick the Ed Block Courage Award, which was named after a man who advocated in behalf of abused children," PETA Senior Communications Coordinator David W. Perle said in a release.  "Michael Vick should not be the person anyone points to as a model of sportsmanship, even though he has now exchanged dogs for touchdowns after serving time for extreme cruelty to animals.  We wish him well in educating others, but this is not appropriate and does not mark a joyous moment in NFL history."

Nearly a year ago, PETA and Vick discussed the production of a Public Service Announcement regarding dog fighting, but PETA declined to proceed after Vick's lawyers reportedly asked PETA to support Vick's reinstatement to the NFL in exchange for his involvement.  PETA also asked the NFL to require Vick to psychological testing, including an MRI brain scan, before allowing him to return to the NFL.

lol at the PETA freaks
