Pretty sure anybody that has watched the draft knows who Rosenpenis is, remember the Willis McGahee thing?   The TO thing was definitely over the top and made him look like more of a scuzbag, but I am pretty sure people didn't like him before that.

There is no doubt though that he is one of the top agents in sports.

Rosenhaus does his job well.  His job is to be a bitch to the FO and make his players money.  If I was a player, I'd be happy to have him.  Same with Boras in the MLB.

Lol that Rosenhaus isn't every bit the POS that Rome accurately described, and I can remember without looking it up any number of examples where he has pulled the same kind of shtein. The only thing that stops him now is for the most part is teams have caught on so he can't get away with it, which started with the TO incident.

But the Lance Briggs fiasco, one in a series of dog and pony shows where Rosenhuas trotted the player out, having him swear up and down on a stack of 8000 bibles that he would never play another down as a Bear as long as he lived no matter what bla bla bla ba, which backfired on the client in a way that completely exposed Rosenahus to the league. Jerry Angelo basically said if you want to hold out fine, and he didn't give a shtein what the fans or media or Urlakkerz thought. Briggs could hold out and not make a dime and lose another year of eligibility towards free agency, or he could come back wimpering with his tail between his legs. Guess which he chose (after wrapping his drunk ass and new Lambourghini around a streetlight)? How many other agents and clients other than TO/Rosenhaus have been found guilty of engaging in a campaign to disrupt and sabotage an NFL operation (or whatever the exact ruling was)?

QuoteHe put ideas in TO's weak mind and was the catalyst for his behavior.
Exactly, and he did the same shtein with DeSean.

One reason the negotiation went well is that Shady wisely got himself very involved, talking to the FO every day, which left much less chance for Rosenhaus to farg it up.

Igy acting like Rosenhaus was an unknown in the sports world prior to 2005

If Drew needed an agent igy is his guy!

hbionic

I personally would like to see Drew doing sit-ups in his driveway.

IGY, let us know when the presser is going to happen. Pacific Time please.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

he was known...its just eagle fans are clueless when it comes to him because of TO

there is not even a 1% more chance that you have trouble with a rosenhaus client than the client of any other agent

hate the guy all you want...i admit hes a fleshpop...i happen to love cocky bastiches who are the goat at what they do but i can certainly undertand MA hating him...i have no problem there

all i ask is for naive eagle fans to stop bringing his name up when hes the agent of an eagle player because it doesnt matter...and stop pretending like its beyond incredible that the eagles have resigned three rosenhaus clients in the last year or whatever it is...its no different than any other agent and i beg of you all to please just let it go

I can't believe igy is defending that slimeball Rosenhaus. It's like the Eagles f.o. actions of late, kinda' leaves you wide eyed and slackjawed.

shocking you would miss the point....i am not defending him...he doesnt need defending...i love the guy...i realize most people hate him...thats clear

my point is i need people to stop with the decade old cliche/misnomer/cluelessness of bringing up his name every single time hes representing an eagle like its noteworthy in any way....

its so tiresome

So the last three pages of this thread you aren't defending him? thats shocking.

So, let's get this straight... No one is even allowed to mention the involvement of Drew Rosenhaus in any contract situation going forward, and mentioning him in a negative light or bringing up the TO or DeSean fiasco is COMPLETELY out of the question. Right?

I actually see IGY's point here: the way Rosenhaus operates is actually better for getting deals done than most think, because of the times he's gotten his name in the middle of uglier disputes. Fine. But both are part of the truth, and there's a reason the first player he had in this year's draft was Devon Still. His act has worn thin on both players and teams, kind of like IGY's "I am 100% right and will never concede even a fraction of a piece of an argument" shtick.

except this isnt an argument...im not trying to argue that hes a great guy....ive mentioned on several occasions i understand that hes a hatable figure

but they need to stop being obsessed with rosenhaus as it pertains to his client list...specifically eagle clients....TO happened almost ten years ago...its time to let it go...really it was time to let it go right after TO left
