I agree it's not a good idea to have the goal of winning a title for JJ as their motivation. To a small degree it's a nice sentiment, but it didn't work in '92 when some on the defense were almost obsessed with the Jerome Quest. The season is too long and grueling for that to be the sustaining motivation.

Melanoma loves it some brains, like zombies that way.  So that it's not in the brain is really good news.  The bad news is it's probably everywhere else.  If it's in the base of it's spine, it's probably everywhere in his gut, liver, kidneys.  He ain't long for this world.

Long time no see, Eagles fans. I was saddened to hear about Johnson and wanted to throw that out there. Class guy and a helluva coach.

Cancer in one form of another has played hell on many members of my family and I really hope for the best for Coach Johnson.
