today is when i relish public transportation and the train station being a mile from the cirbbo....rain alone makes for a nightmare commute but i was watching news this morning and there were no less than six accidents in the area

I hate driving in weather like this, its hard to see with oncoming traffic, and the pooling of water on the side of the road makes for hairy corners.

So IGY, what does the winter weather forecast look like this year? Compared to previous 2 years this year has been pretty mild into the first week of December.

i dont really pay attention to forecasting the future because i dont think anyone has any idea what they are talking about when they give them...also you could have a really warm winter but if you get two big storms you may suprass your average snowfall...or a cold winter where all the energy misses so no snow

i really only follow on a storm by storm basis.....the rest is hooey

btw fwiw henry margusity who is as accurate as anyone in short term furturecasts says he forsees three storms hitting the east coast btwn now and xmas...but he is a known snow lover and tends to lean more snow than less whenever its a question

I just got wondering since they're saying we have a shot of snow tomorrow. I think the farmers almanac said that it would be a mild winter with one major storm.

i dont know if its possible for weather to be better than it is in the northeast starting yesterday and going to sunday...warm but not hot or humid days and chilly nights...just unreal

Going to Parx tomorrow. When there's a big horse race they have a bunch of free shtein for kids in the picnic area, we usually sneak beer in and bbq. Sunday I'm going to the MMRBQ. Off on Monday.
