Peter King:

QuoteAfterward, I asked Bradley what happened. He said the Giants' backs did a great job using their blocks and sliding off them earlier in the year, and the Eagles were able to better fill the gaps in short yardage this game. And he had an interesting theory: Blame Manning's cadence.

"We had a pretty good idea of his cadence,'' Bradley said on the bus ride back to Philadelphia. The happy bus ride, from the sounds in the background. "When you play a guy three times in a season, you can pick up certain things. The tempo of his voice, how he puts his head up when he's getting ready to snap the ball ... it helped us today.''

In case anyone was wondering, Eli still is not as good as his brother.

Bradley isn't exactly offering up trade secrets there.  He's saying, in short, we know the dude because we play him a lot.

Everytime I see the two 4th down stops I hear Merrill in my head going "And they stopped them again!" - even though that's not how he called. Damn Bunkely was a beast yesterday.

its more than that...its basically the same as a pitcher tipping off his pitches...and no mlb team or player would tell the opponent hes doing that...is not a big deal in this case but i still wouldnt be offering it up...you can be sure that eli will change his cadence up everytime he plays the birds now where as previously he didnt

I'm sure it's less of an issue than you're making it.

You can post that in any thread on this board, at any time...and it holds just as much truth.
