Clown, they were winning and taking time off of the clock. Everyone wanted them to score again to get a bigger lead, but running the ball into that brick wall contributed directly to their success.

And of course, as IGY and Feva said, no threat of a run games means that Jared Allen eats McNabb's lunch all goddamned game. Please stop posting.

I enjoyed watching Minnesota's defense jump up and down and act like jackasses whenever they stopped the run only to look pretty much ridiculous whenever McNabb dropped back and hit 8-10 yard passes over the middle to Celek for first downs.

The screen pass was an absolute thing of beauty, though.  They were completely caught off-guard and the reason they were is because they were bunched up in the box defending the run.

How is that possible? reese told me that the run wasn't accomplishing anything. I'm so confused.

ice grillin you

youre clueless reece

the vikings were absolutely anemic on offense...why would you want to stop the clock by passing and more importantly as i said call a higher risk play and possibly turn the ball over on a jared allen sack fumble or an interception...which was the ONLY way they were gonna score

this is all especially true after the westbrook td when they were up two scores
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

the blocking on that screen was unbelievable.  Avant/Djack/Curtis took their men, Nick Cole blew up two different players

I doubt I'll remember much from yesterday's game but I'll never forget Jackson running alongside Westbrook and then pushing his ass into the end zone.

Also - it's funny how both Samuel & Jackson had such a huge effect on the game yesterday.

I love it

You and IGY were so content on giving the ball back on their 40 and 50 yard line because A Peterson sucks so bad he cant break one at any time to set them up for a FG to take the lead? They were not using clock management with a 2 pt lead in the beg of the 4th..they were failing miserably

The Eagles were lucky as shtein to win that game and had they lost you and your boy toy would of been on here screaming for pass because thats how they were Jason Avant/Celek moving the chains and the Eagles couldnt run for jack shtein all game

save the idiot talk kid--youre impressing nobody

rjs246

True. I'm always screaming for the Eagles to pass the ball. You're very perceptive.

I'd like to ask Brad Childress what he was thinking when he declined the holding call on third down with the Eagles in FG range.  I suppose he didn't trust his D to prevent the long conversion?  That's some lousy thinking right there.

I think reese is missing the point here.  Yes, the Eagles didn't run the ball well at all.  But they kept handing it off anyway just to keep the defense honest.

Hats off to tubby & tubby jr. for sticking with it especially considering how woeful it was.

He felt bad for Andy and all of the mean things people say about him. Wanted to help his old buddy out a little bit.

I didn't follow any of the post game pressers.  Was he grilled on that point?  Did he give a reasoning?

Their prolonged hug and delicate whispers after the game was disgusting.

She went and got security over people standing?

Wow.  That's beyond lame.

Sounds a lot like the people in SunMo's section of the Linc. And no, I will never let that go.

It was just retarded, even the vike fans started yelling at her to knock it off, but it got me better seats so she can kiss it.

B Rad said that his Special Teams coach told him he would hit it even from 10 yards more, so rather than risk westbrook or jackson making a huge play, he decided on just giving up the 3 pts

I still cant believe he declined it
