I think he's a better radio host than play-by-play guy.  He wasn't horrible, just not great.

From what I rememeber hearing (I only heard him very occasionally on XM) was that he "tried" too hard to sound like Harry lite.  I didn't think so.  He has almost a typical announcer voice.

This John Mayberry dude looks like a player. He hit another bomb today. 6'5 guy who can hit for power, run and throw. Apparently Amaro did not want to deal Golson for him, but was talked into it by Gillick and LaMar.

I hope he makes the opening day roster. They need a RH bat off the bench like him.

And put Bruntlett outta his misery; let Marcus Giles make the team as that guy.
