whatever.

eric bruntlett can play 2nd base for 162 games and i couldnt get mad.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

There was something written earlier about Utley needing hip surgery, but like igy said...wtf cares...they won the Series.

In a swap of former 1st-rd picks, Golson was traded to Texas for power-hitting OF John Mayberry

Rome

Oh, goodie.  It's not like the Phillies need prospects with five-tool potential cluttering up the system.

Idiots.

BigEd76

five tools but he put a ball into play twice during his time with the Phils.  He's fast and a good defensive outfielder, but he sucks offensively...

Rome

He's raw offensively, Ed.  And six at-bats isn't exactly whopper of a sample size either.

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

BigEd76

since he didn't hit for power OR average, I guess it's only 3

and yeah, 6 ABs in the majors isn't a huge sample size (4 Ks, a groundout and a flyout), but he struck out a ton in the minors too

2008 = 130 K in 426 AB
2007 = 173 K in 571 AB
2006 = 160 K in 546 AB
2005 = 106 K in 375 AB
2004 = 54 K in 183 AB

that's pretty much chokedawg-like

Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

The Walgreens down the street from my house, they had like 10 of them. I'm gonna swing by there tomorrow to see if there are any left since they're in such high demand.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds
