Park definitely earned it. In the past you might be about to question the Phillies, but the difference now is that they are the WFC. They earned the benefit of the doubt on every move for at least this upcoming season.

they need a speedy slap hitter who doesn't strike out and can play cf. right now just werth and vic can play cf. right now eric bruntlett is the fastest guy off the bench. you have a power lefty (stairs), a great pinch hitter (dobbs), a catcher (coste), and a utility infielder (bruntlett). you dont need power. you dont need versatility. you need to fill a hole. sheff looks attractive but he aint gonna do the job.
