Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

QB Eagles

Paulino wanted off the Pirates and Jaramillo was managed by the current Pirates manager in AAA.

BigEd76

Jaramillo wasn't good enough to be Ruiz's backup and they wanted Marson to get a full season at LV

Yahoo Sports says the Phils are close to signing Chan Ho Park. wtf nooooooooooooooooooo

The BIGSTUD

Solid reliever. He won't start so this signing is fine.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Oh yeah?

QuoteThe Phillies are close to signing free-agent right-hander Chan Ho Park, according to Yahoo Sports.

The club has not confirmed or announced anything regarding Park.

Park, 35, went 4-4 with a 3.40 ERA over 95 2/3 innings in 2008, making five starts among his 54 appearances for the Dodgers.

The Phillies are expected to look at him as a starter and the deal likely will be for one year.

And speaking of disasters, the deal for DeRosa is now rumored to include JASON DONALD and Happ or Carrasco.  WTF?!?

After considering bringing back Nick Punto, he re-signed with the Twins for 2/$8.5M.  wow.

Stark says things are heating up for the Phils and Raul Ibanez.

Cole on WFAN today, dissing Reyes (nice)

was promoting the new 8-DVD World Series and said Reyes celebrates too much and the Mets were choke artists the last two years.  He's OK with K-Rod celebrating every save like it's a World Series win though...

Quote"Respect the game. Run around like you've done it before. Don't act like it's the best thing on the face of this planet because you can easily lose a game even though you hit a home run."

Also says that even though he likes visiting New York City, when you play for a Philadelphia team, you have to hate New York to create a rivalry...

Don Ho

66 more days until pitchers and catchers report and my hatred for the Mets is at mid season form!  My hatred for Reyes never wanes.

QuoteThe Phillies have agreed to a three-year contract with free-agent outfielder Raul Ibanez, pending a physical. The deal is believed to be worth $30 million over three years.
