Pannachio was a very good writer who had no problem asking the tough questions.  He really gave up doing a good job about 2 years ago, every one of his articles seemed to have info that was plain wrong like Richards playing RW, just weird lazy screw ups.  From reading on another site, he was having some personal issues that was interfering with his job.  He's back though lately with some great articles, and solid info.
"For all the civic slurs, for all the unsavory things said of the Philadelphia fans, also say this: They could teach loyalty to a dog. Their capacity for pain is without limit." -Bill Lyons

Ding.

Timmy P's biggest problem was each article had factual errors, and no that's not an exaggeration.  He consistently got simple facts about the Flyers incorrect.

WPEN reporting the Phils made an offer to Lowe.  Hope it's a good one.

Hamels
Lowe
Myers
Moyer
Blanton

That's a scary rotation right there.

MDS

replace happ with moyer and you've got the actual rotation if they sign lowe
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Works either way.  Moyer probably wouldn't last the season anyway so Happ would be the natural fit especially since he's a lefty.

I wouldn't mind seeing Carrasco blow everyone's minds out of spring training and win a spot in the rotation.

MDS

hell probably have a chance, but most likely they are slotting him to replace blanton in 2010 when his contract is up

Lowe is the best fit for CBP.  I still wish they'd bring back the old man for one more season, though.

Olney doesn't think the Phils have made an offer.  Just the agent trying to stir up some action.  Damn.   :boom
