and weed is about 100000x easier to get than alcohol up until your 21

3 40's of high gravity is like six bucks and will put most heads to bed

Most guys I know toyed with the stuff back in the teens, including myself. As somebody noted earlier, weed was ridiculously easy to get your hands on, and cheaper then as you usually had to pay someone off to get you booze, plus you could go out behind the house, smoke a bowl, and be back inside watching X-Files within minutes, and no hangover. Ah, memories.

To get it with any regularity and in denominations larger that a few beers, or anything in a state store, yeah. I'm talking when I was 16-17. There was no way any of us was walking into the ABC and coming out with a fifth.

we used to pay the workers from the GM plant to buy us booze if we got shut down from buying it ourselves.

honestly i think it all started at 9/11

little stuff like making sure 15 year olds didnt go see r rated movies began. pre 9/11 no one gave a shtein, but all of a sudden they had security guards outside of old school. that obviously translated to buying booze.
