McNabb and Teh Shawn Jackson sit in the back of the bus on the way from the airport to the Hotel. It's late. Their flight was delayed because of Ike. Reggie Brown sitting up front is in mid-conversation with Jason Avant when he turns around to see what McNabb is up to. He says McNabb and TehShawn asleep...with McNabb's head resting on TehSahwn's shoulder. Reggies eye's slowly water.

Bryant WesBrook- 3 Rushing TD's

TehShawn- 1 PR TD, I Receiving

Eagles 24-13

I can see the Eagles scoring 2 td's and I'm calling a DJ td return. This is the week he takes one to the house!

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Anyone but Reid.

Birds 38 - 17 Faaarrrrrrgggg DallASS! T.O. breaks down on the sideline & Romo gets concussed.

Anyone want action on how many Jerry Jones eye-rolling cut-away shots there are? I'll set the line at 3, and take the over.

Since I missed Week 1, feel free to put me down as 0-1 even though I would have picked the Eagles to win with a final score of 38 to 3.

Me too please.

Westbrook goes over 100 yards yet Dmac doesn't have the greatest game. Samuels get's his first pick as an Eagle and the D carries them to a win.....

Key matchups for this game.

Trent Cole vs. Marc Colombo. When Romo has been pressured, the Cowboys get beat, plain and simple. The Eagles need a big game from Cole.

Brodrick Bunkley vs. Leonard Davis. You know the Cowboys are going to run Barber on the right side behind Davis. If this team wants to go anywere in this division this year, Bunkley needs to preform well against the good teams like Dallas. Bunkley and Patterson have turned into a couple pretty good players against the run. They need to show it here. A good pass rush that will collapse the pocket and force Romo outside to the DE's will go a long way to a Eagles win. Put Romo on the move and let the DB's do their job. TO is really good at coming back to his QB. We find out how good our DB's are this week. I'd love to see a couple picks.

DeSean Jackson vs. Cowboys ST's. Good field position against a team like the Cowboys is critical. It's also something this team hasn't had in the last 6-7 years. I know the pimpman will be fired up for his first time on Monday Night Football. A return for a TD could very well be the difference in this game. I can't wait to see how DJ responds to all the hype surrounding this game.

Another key to this game I feel is the playcalling of Andy Ried and the preformance of the OL. Reid has to come up with plays that will distrupt the Cowboys pass rush. The perfect play for this is one I don't think we saw much of last week. The screen pass to Bwest, or a sweep. It is NOT a quick out or slant pattern to Avant or Lewis, which seems to be Reids favorite play on first or second down. IMO, you have to widen Dallas's defense.

I know it's a forgone conclusion, but the OL has to have a good game, and keep the Cowboys pass rush to a minimum. Give DMac time and he will burn you. We don't need him getting knocked down on his ass and getting hurt. I really don't want to see him scrambling anymore either. Last week I applauded when he ran straight out of bounds to keep from getting hit. Let's face it, after seeing Dmac blow his knee out just plain running to the sidelines a couple of years ago.........well, his scrambling days are over I hope.

Bwest had a alright game last week. A TD and 90 some yards. Thats fine for most RB's in this league, but not Bwest. Reid didn't call his number much for some reason, or so thats the way it seemed to me. He must be more invovled in the offense for an Eagles win. Get him the ball in the flat, or in space past the line of scrimmage. The Cowboys have two good linebackers in Zach Thomas and Bradie James, but I've seen Bwest make them miss numerous times before. They will be overmatched. Between passing and running, Bwest needs to have the ball 25-30 times for the Eagles to win this game, imo.

last year eagles went from 56 to 3....this time there will be no winston justice and a healthy donovan mcnabb so i dont think they will look that anemic but i still believe going up against a real defense with very good corners will present a problem

Both teams off to hot start, but Dallas beat a much better team, and beat them bad. Not sure whats up with the Browns? The Rams win proves nothing, our season starts tomorrow at Dallas. This is a huge game. If we can protect McNabb all day, look for another record day, but once that pressure gets on McNabb he turns into the 50/50 guy. Westbrook needs to be solid all day if McNabb is getting pressured. The O-Line needs a big day, with major protection. It all starts with them tomorrow.
Defense needs to step it up as well. Get pressure on Romo from the start and don't stop. We can beat Dallas bad with getting to Romo...plain and simple. Punch them in their mouths, get an early lead, take the crowd out...force Romo to win the game...we win.

Now the chances of this happening are slim...but we will lose one and win one against them this year...for a fact. I say we take this one from them. But it's close...its going to be a last drive game winner. Dawkins makes a game ending INT to seal the deal

Birds - 23
Pukes - 20

Westbrook scores twice, 1 running, 1 receiving. Akers goes 3/4

TO - burns us for one. M. Barber runs over a few defenders to score also.
