Dhani Jones named one of the Bengals captains.  :-D

Marvin Lewis: coming to an unemployment office near you.

Jones played better for them last year than he ever played for the Eagles.  Or the Giants, really.  One game I saw, he was all over the field, it was like weird.

Barksdale signed to the Jints PS...

Someone should go remind the Jints fans how he said he hated the Giants.

We ought to have a maintained-current list of all still active ex-Eagles in one place. You up for doing that in the first post in this thread, Phreak? If it's too much work, I could take one of the conferences and PM it to you. The list has gotten a lot shorter now that teams are down to 53, and I'm sure there will be a lot less turnover now too.

PhillyPhreak54

Yeah, I'll do it. Maybe tonight...

TKO is really standing out on special teams:

1-N.Rackers kicks 74 yards from ARI 30 to SF -4. 20-A.Rossum to SF 10 for 14 yards (22-M.Ware). PENALTY on SF-51-T.Spikes, Illegal Block Above the Waist, 5 yards, enforced at SF 10.

1-N.Rackers kicks 39 yards from ARI 30 to SF 31. 51-T.Spikes MUFFS catch, RECOVERED by ARI-22-M.Ware at SF 33.

Notice the other ex-Eagle making the plays there.

QuoteMcMullen agrees

For those wondering how the Seahawks could release a wide receiver (Jordan Kent) when they're desperate for wide receivers, help is on the way.

The team has agreed to terms with Billy McMullen, who has played in a West Coast passing game with the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings and was in training camp this summer with the Washington taterskins.

McMullen was the choice from six wide receivers who worked out today. The group that also included – and was first reported by ESPN.com's John Clayton – Samie Parker, Mark Bradford, Davale Ellis, Mike Haas and Michael Garperson.

That Mike Garperson would have really helped them!

What are you talking about?  That McMullen signing will help every team they play this year.
