It's definitely true.  It makes complete sense with the M.O. of this front office.

I should go get an accounting degree so that I can get into player evaluation in the NFL.

Seriously, can we start a grass roots campaign to have Howie replaced with Havas?

ice grillin you

no i mean if its true that hes really gonna be the lead scout...they can give him any title they want but until hes actually out there travelling the country watching film and evaluating potential draft picks i wont believe it

actually im not sure ill ever believe this one

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Believe it.  Let's just hope they win the big one before he actually has to make any recommendations.

QB Eagles

In other front office Jew news, the Jets hired away Scott Cohen. Word on the street is that the new director of pro personnel is going to be Andy Reid's personal accountant.

I thought that was Banner's job too.

Sandusky Named Director Of Pro Personnel

The Eagles announced on Tuesday that they have named Jon Sandusky director of pro personnel and Louis Riddick pro scout.

Sandusky, formerly a pro scout with the Eagles, is in his eighth season with the team. In his new role, the 31-year-old Sandusky will manage the pro scouting department evaluating players among the professional ranks, advance scouting of upcoming opponents and preparing the club for acquisitions through free agency and the waiver wire. In addition, he also assists in the cross check of college players prior to the draft. A native of State College, PA, Sandusky was a safety and special teams player for Penn State from 1996-99. His father, Jerry, is the legendary Penn State defensive coordinator.

A native of Quakertown, PA, Riddick joins the Eagles after a seven-year stint with the Washington taterskins, serving the last three seasons as their director of pro personnel. He joined the taterskins as a pro scout in 2001. In his new role, Riddick will be responsible for evaluating players in the professional ranks, advance scouting of upcoming opponents and preparing the team for acquisitions through free agency and the waiver wire. He will also contribute to the process of scouting players for the draft.

Prior to working for the taterskins, Riddick enjoyed a seven-year career in the NFL as a safety, amassing 172 tackles and two sacks. He joined the league as a ninth-round selection of San Francisco in 1991 and went on to play for Atlanta, Cleveland and Oakland, where he finished his playing career in 1998. Riddick was an All-America selection at Pennridge High School before playing collegiately at Pittsburgh, where he earned All-Big East honors on the field and academic All-America honors for his work in the classroom.

rjs246

He played at Pitt while his dad was at PSU.
Now he's going from the Skins to the Eagles.

Sounds like a goddamned turncoat to me. I don't trust him.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

PoopyfaceMcGee

You're talking about two different guys.
