Dunlap didn't play "poorly". He played poorly, without any scare quotes to undermine the meaning of the word.

Who likes Spadaro quotes?  This one is good:

QuoteReports that Dunlap played "poorly" aren't accurate.

I read that and it actually made me physically ill mostly because he was probably channeling Reid when he wrote it.

ice grillin you

theres little more in the world andy could want than for a 7th round project offensive linemen to become good
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

PoopyfaceMcGee

Agreed, except for the UDFA linemen.  Nick Cole HOLLA

Speaking of which, here's a neato fact:  The current Eagles LG/C/RG combo?  ALL 4th round picks.  THAT'S VALUE RIGHT THERE!   :-D

Maybe the KFC Double Down.

I wonder if Ron Heller can still play?

Mosely:

QuoteThe King Dunlap Era begins: You have to admire the way Dunlap played at left tackle. With a full week of practice under his belt, Dunlap played with a lot more confidence. Dare I say that he played better than Jason Peters would have?

reese125

that is so painful to read. who would've guessed that 3 days of practice would turn into an era.

You come at the king, you best not miss.

PhillyPhreak54

And he did it with minimal help.

Impressive.

Edit to add...

Reid really helped on a few occasions with the end arounds. Those toyed with Abraham's head and would keep him from going full bore at times.

And Abraham had a balky back.

huh...he had all kinds of help...shady was chipping all game...as was the te some and on the macklin bomb schmitt actually made the key block on abraham

MDS

just remember i claimed him  when they drafted him cause he was a big black dude named king

and in that same draft or maybe the one before it igy claimed rashad barksdale for obvious, wire-realted reasons

one is starting, the other is out the league

again i win

carry on
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

He had some help, yeah. Shady and Schmitt were chipping. But it wasn't as often as I expected them to.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Did he send you your $100 in old pennies yet?
