Myers stellar again tonight.  Too bad he wasn't like this all season.

MDS

souderton = 12.6% black
price georges county = 66% black
north philly = 100% black

i win son.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I rode the train into the city on Saturday.  Being on a train at Temple University station made me feel icky close to both IGY and MDS at the same time.

By the way, there were about 15 white kids at the station and no black ones.  Just saying.

anyway phils 3 outs away from a solid win. myers just might be the 2nd half mvp.

Lidge trying to kill us by making it "interesting."  Just get the damn outs, Brad.

i was just saying he has had more than a few of those this year but as long as he puts em down im all good...of course that means his first blown save will be on the last weekend against the nats to miss the playoffs

dude finds a way to get the job done. but yea, odds are hes gonna blow one soon and of course itll be that last week.

on the bright side, i did some nerd projections and chances are no matter what happens myers, hamels and moyer will pitch 6 of the final 7 games.

id did some predictions once that hamels would face the mets twice in two series....he faced them none

it wouldnt be for the division lead, they would just even things up.

they would be tied for the division lead...the phillies are currently in second...it most definitely is for the lead as far as the phillies are concerned

Myers is currently the ace. I hated him the first half of the season but he's 6-1 since coming back, his era is under 2, and he's had 4 straight games of 8 ks or more. The Mets are the toughest team in the nl to k and he had 10 lastnight. Playing the optimist I can't see Moyer having two bad outings in a row vs. the Mets, and Hamels can dominate. I actually feel better about this series being in NY, there's less pressure on the bums to not farg up. With all that said, as long as they win 1 tomorrow they're in good shape.
