The blown call on Delgado was atrocious. He swung at that ball.

Although Utley not coming up with that ball also contributed to that inning as well. He did make amends later in the game though.

Burrell played a solid game.

Victorino has taken on Jimmy Rollins' uppercut shoot for the fences swing. But his hustle to 2nd caused that dancing fag Reyes to rush and miss the base. Great hustle there.

So's AB was a thing of beauty. Slap at balls and get a pitch to hit. Looked like Iguchi's ABs last year. Those Japs know how to handle the bats. He was helped by Endy playing so shallow too.

Hernandez on the Mets broadcast was pointing out how So was 0-16 as a PH and how Endy was too shallow and both bit them in the ass.

I didn't think Blanton looked horrible at all. He was fine minus the Delgado HR, which he should have had a K anyways.

at least jimmy williams is a competant tactician so even if the attitudes and approach of the players dont change at the very least you get a good dugout guy...and who cares they are going nowhere with charlie...lets see what a shake up does...if it doesnt work and the players dont respond then its time to shake up the roster in the offseason...and maybe thats the answer anyway...but lets start with the manager and see whats up because you cant significantly change a roster mid season like you can with a manager

they liking him is part of the problem....i agree about the first place part...but sometimes you gotta make a bold move to try and win a title...thinking the phillies would do something bold is probably where im going way wrong

I think the bold move they needed to win the title was more in regards to the on-field personnel.

As they're rocking Joe Blanton and not C.C. Sabathia, I think we're too late on that front also.
