i dont know why but i was listening to a little eskin today and the people calling him were just going off about how much they hate jimmy and how mike schmidt annoyed them because he asked that they take off the pen cap before he signs something

people are just stupid and believe athletes are like their personal property, they should be catering their lives to fans all the time no matter what. moron country

Exactly.

Year before last a lot of people hated Jimmy. I used to catch shtein because I like him. Last year because he was MVP and his comments and the beating of the Mets they all wanted to blow him. Now he makes a comment and its like he raped peoples mothers and sisters.

What cracks me up is how offended people in Philly get offended by things like this. So much for a tough attitude.

What about when Fregosi said all of South Philly goes home and fargs their mothers? To me that's funny.

What Jimmy said doesn't deserve all this shock of oh my Jimmy said something bad about us. We're a buncha sissies. Let's cry about it.

The booing and the crying on radio and message boards has reached the point of enough.

He stopped running out pop ups and was benched
Showed up late and was benched
His numbers are way way way down from last season
HE cried about the fans this season

But yeah, its us not him. Give me a farging break.

My point is;

I totally agree with booing him for not hustling. And I totally agree with him for being booed for showing up late. And even because he's stunk up the joint this year. That's not my issue. I boo players just as much as anyone when they deserve it, and he deserved it then.

And he made a stupid remark. Big deal. I don't even care about it too much. People say stupid shtein all the time.

The thing that cracks me up is the fans who get all pissy about it. Like you're offended he would say such a thing. How dare he say that, you think. He can't criticize me because I am a tough Philly fan! I care! I support zesty teams! We're the best fans in the world!

And the constant bitching about it days later. It's over. But that carcass will be beaten, allowed to rot, dragged out and beaten some more and then given a swift kick again just to make sure it's dead.

And, when a player gives it back to the fans who are supposed to be tough people get all indignant about it. Shocked even.

If you're going to dish it, take it.

I used to laugh about the people on the radio who would get all worked up into a frenzy about when a player rips the fans. But usually its the same guy who tells the player to go farg his mother or how farging terrible he is who gets mad when a player shoots back.

He had one spectacular season last year and now he's back to being the same old J-Roll.

phillie fans are a disgrace since they have moved to the bank....half of them dont even know what they are booing at...they are out in ashburn alley or wasted in the upper deck not even watching the game hear some booing coming from somewhere turn around and boo themselves...the majority of them could care less about what jimmy rollins said


rather the problem is a simple one...jimmy isnt playing well and when youre not playing well its probably not the best time to spout off at the mouth...if he hits that home run last night and not werth then he gets all cheers

I have no problem with the current fans, reason being is at least they fill the stadium. I'd rather have a packed house full of families and drunk college kids on dates than a half empty stadium. You can't blame the Phils for marketing to them as they've been successful and making money ultimately helps in adding players.

i dont care about it until im there...i like the fact that it brings money to the team...but its a disgrace embarrassing and almost ruins the game experience for me...if you wanna act like that go to a farging bar and chat it up while you peak at the tv every once and a while and let the real fans enjoy the game at the stadium

the best phillie games to go to are on the road cause you get a decent amount of phillie fans showing up and they are all their to see the team and the game
