You're right. The bench is putrid.

Ibanez was claimed by someone on waivers today. No idea who (Washburn was too) but I highly doubt Ibanez made it to the Phils. He'll probably be a Met.

yea like the phillies are gonna make their team better
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Boy am I glad football season is around the corner. This fargin thing is over.

Offense shut down after the 3rd. Again.
Chad Durbin blew the game. Again.
Manuel handed the ball to Clay Condrey in a tight spot. Again.

I hate this team and I want them to lose. farg them.

It's a good thing I'm back at work this week and needing to get to bed early.  They suck.

the idea of calling fans of one of the losingest franchises in all of sports frontrunners is funny.

St. Louis didn't even make the top 10. I mention them because he referenced them when talking about other cities that are more supportive. Lets also not forget the fact that St. Louis had McGwire to root for in the mid to late 90's, has made the playoffs 5 of the last 7 seasons, has been to two world series, and won one. I'd like to see how supportive they are after not making the playoffs for 14 seasons.

youre looking at it backwards...phillies made the top ten LEAST loyal

st louis made the top 10 MOST loyal

theres no question st louis baseball fans are more loyal than phillie fans...they arent better fans but you really cant argue they arent more loyal...loyal to a fault perhaps

but it really deosnt apply to what jimmy said because he wasnt talking about being loyal....imo he was saying that st louis is always positive and doesnt boo

my bad...I quickly went through the list and posted. But like I said, St. Louis has been in a great situation for the past 10 seasons, so of course they're going to be perceived as being more loyal or better fans. Lets see what they're like after an almost 30 year WS drought and 14 year playoff abscence. I'm gonna boo Jimmy as loud as I can the next game I'm at. 1 for his comments, 2 for playing like shtein, 3 for letting the MVP - which he should be thanking the fans for - go to his head.

even tho they are MA's st louis is arguably the best baseball city in the country...i have nothing bad to to say about them

what about the time the phillies scored 20 on them and somebody hit a double in the 7th inning and they acted like it was the game winning hit of the World Series?

yeah, i would love to be that type of fan
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.
