Doesn't seem to be working right Cerevant. I won 2 games and gained nothing. Gym seems buggy...but a pretty good start none the less. way better on the eyes as well  :yay

Experience is broken.

Training Speed works, it is just that you don't always gain when you train.  Your random chance of gaining in a stat is equal to 100 - current (percent).

Training Defense is broken.

I'm looking at the logout time - it is supposed to keep you logged in for a year if you click "yes" for remember me.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

So, the training doesn't do anything.  The only action that can be taken is starting a "game" against an equally-matched opponent where luck prevails.  The code is incredibly buggy.

And you're worried about the login cookie?

I'm not sure if all the issues that would need to be resolved to make this a fun sim are worth your time, Cerevant.  It was a nice idea, but I think there's just too much work left to do.

Cerevant

Training works fine (except for defense), and the stats do affect the outcome of the game.  If you don't believe that, tray playing me.

Sorry the game is buggy - what did you pay for it again?  I know it isn't "ready" but I'm not going to spend months creating a polished product and have you say "this is boring".  I put up an early version to test, to help find bugs and to get an idea of what you might like to see the game do.  I think what is there is not too bad for about 6 hours work.  I'm doing it for fun, so it isn't a waste of my time.  If it is a waste of yours, don't bother.

No.  All my stats are still at 10, even power which is basically all I've been training.

I scored 10 points against you, so you suck!  (You scored only 44.)

I wasn't criticizing what you've done so far.  I just think you have a lot of underlying work to do to make the game remotely fun, as clearly the free code is free for a reason.

Can you copy and paste the result next time you train, so I can see what is happening?  It looks like it is working for me and others.

There's some balancing that probably needs to be done, but it looks about right...there is a factor of randomness and upsets will happen.

No problem - just don't panic yet :)

New Updates:

* Fixed bug with experience not being recorded
* Fixed training defense
* Fixed play so that an offense big play is not required for a defense big play to happen.
* Tidied up the login page.
* You can now go to the Training Room to avoid playing games (Location menu)
* When a player hits maximum injuries, they are sent to the training room.  Players can't leave the training room until they are partially healed.

With the exception of FF above, and the cookie issue, I believe all other reported issues have been addressed.  Let me know if there are any new problems.

It says "You have gained strength by training it 5 times"

Cerevant

Are you sure it said strength?

"You begin training your Power.
You have gained 12 Power by training it 5 times.
You now have 98 Power and 20 energy left."

Sorry, power.  But definitely no number before it.
