Nice signing, anyone know the financial terms?

I still think Howard gets cut eventually.

I would rather they draft 3 DTs in the 7th round than keep Howard around for another year.

PhillyPhreak54

Not too shabby, I guess. Until he puts up 12 sacks and cries he outperformed his deal.

Sign the best of the three to fill his spot and move on?  Sounds good to me.

I think he sticks around as the 3rd DT, he actually did a halfway decent job there last season.

Early rumor is $18.5M

I can live with that, he can't be any worse than Kearse at this point not to mention he's younger and cheaper.

The more I think about this signing, the more I like it.

What I like about Clemons is that he still seems to have alot of upside. I'd be suprised to see Abiamiri or Juqua hit double digit sacks next year but not so much with Clemons, who played less than 40% of the snaps last year.

Dio, if they do do the 3-4 as they are planning on implementing, he's a very nice addition.  Gocong and Cole, Clemmons off the edge would be nice

This would be really sweet. And I'm really hoping Gocong has a good season.

Drunkmasterflex

This move certainly seems to show that they may actually use a 3-4 look, though we have heard that before.  18 mil seems like a lot to give a guy that had a little more than half a good season.  Though it appears that he does have a lot of upside.

I don't understand the Eagles propensity for acquiring undersized defensive ends.  I guess the signing is okay, but really, how many of these guys do they need?

Oh, well... so much for drafting a defensive end in the first round.

Feva

I'm kinda in that boat myself Rome.  I mean, this is a cool signing, but it feels more like a depth signing than a front-line starter.

I'd still like to see them add another DE.

Killa, Clemons, Thomas, Howard, Abiamiri = Killa may still end up the only consistent pass rusher.
