Sucks that they changed the policy on him, but if you'd rather play football for a living instead of being an officer in the US Army, the United States Military Academy might not be the best college choice.

More importantly, lol @ Matt Millen.

Rams backup tackle and frequent criminal Claude Wroten is done for the year after another substance policy violation.

The guy went to West Point and somehow managed to graduate.  Under any other circumstances I'd side with the athlete over the U.S. Military, but come on... he went to West farging Point, already.

I'd say it's amazing how quickly these fools forget that they're lucky, and rich, making 500k per year, but then I'm reminded who they are...jocks.  The dumbest fargs you ever met, hands down.  Of course they forget, if they ever knew.  They're one small step above retard.

It would take me over 10 years to make that sort of dough in my current gig.  I don't plan on getting paid shtein wages for the rest of my life, but still, the arrogance of these clowns and their complete lack of common sense when talking about that sort of money is staggering.

People scrape by on 20 grand a year in this country and that icehole is acting like getting paid a half million a year is an insult.

Lovely.

Well, that sucks. Dio should have fun with this one.

Yet another black eye for the Army.  Its bad enough we have stop loss and the longest tours of any active service.  The Army gained a lot of positive PR in this situation and now they have totally destroyed it.  I would not have an issue with this at all if this was there stance from the beginning.  We had a guy in my company who had a more than good chance of being on the Olympic boxing team this summer yet my unit dropped the ball and now he sits in Iraq with the rest of us.

Im not sticking up for dude by any means, but 445,000 "in the NFL" for a Hester is absurd. That deal should of been done a while ago. The only full-time position he's not playing this year is safety--which Im sure he might dabble in as well

The remarks he made about being special and one of a kind is flat out farging dumb and arrogant. Being humble just doesn't register with some of these guys--thats what gets me

Diomedes

Hester has a real point, no doubt.  But he is typically wrong headed in his approach to the problem, which puts him right where he belongs...in the equally unreasonable company of the NFLPA, the Bears, and the league generally.

obviously the Eagles have overpaid him, and surely he'll be giving a portion back to them for services not rendered over the course of the contract

There are tons of players in the league who make more money than Devin Hester. Anyone who makes a speech like the one Hester made above deserves whatever they get. Give me a farging break.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?
