Wow, that does suck. It was cool to see him play guitar.  Weird thing is that his name hasn't entered my brain in years, and I decided to take a look at his wikipedia entry yesterday for no good reason. Guessing it looks a bit different today.  Geez.

Correct.  Tumors on his legs and lungs, plus that eye cancer he had since being 1 year old.

He was totally not on my radar though.
