This will always be the image I associate with Newman (Cool Hand Luke, after he eats 50 hard boiled eggs in an hour, for those young-uns [and IGY who says anything made before Star Wars is unwatchable]).

slapshot is perhaps the greatest sports movie ever made and maybe one of the top 10 comedies of all time.

My favorite part of that movie was the bit where he had to keep digging/moving the hole for the different bosses. Sometimes I feel something like Luke in that way.

Yep; you're right on Doc.

Sounds like the pancreatic cancer like Upshaw had in the sense that by the time you find out its too late to do anything.
