And got cut from Cincy because of some pretty bad legal trouble.

Must have been bad if Cincy didn't even want to deal with it.

Nice division matchup to start the season for the Burgundy & Gold. The NFL gets one of their hallmark organizations and their new, emerging star Head Coach out in primetime and on center stage for the rest of the league to see, pairing them up with a Giants team who were a nice story last season.

Big time opener for the Skins as they build off the playoff appearance in '07. Jason Campbell was knocking on the door of the elite club of NFL QBs last year, and this year he is poised to kick it down. Portis and Betts are the two-headed monster leading the running attack, and they'll join Santana and Randle-El in the new West Coast passing attack. Too many weapons, and that's not even mentioning Pro Bowler Chris Cooley or emerging big target and current special teams ace Anthony Mix. Cooley? Santana? Portis? Mix? Pick your poison.

The defense? Oh baby. London Fletcher leads a dominant unit, quarterbacking the defense from the middle LB spot. Young bulls Golston and Montgomery anchor the line, and the secondary is in the capable hands of Fred Smoot and young gun Leigh Torrance. Watch this kid, along with classic speed rusher Chris Wilson...potential Pro Bowler down the line. Carlos Rogers will be coming back, along with Rocky McIntosh. Young and lethal defense.

I wish the season started tomorrow.

Yeah, that's it... the NFL is looking to get Jim farging Zorn as much face time as possible... and allowing the Giants to participate because they were a nice story with that whole winning the Super Bowl thing.

You just can't gameplan for that!
I'm not from Philly but some say I'm blunt.
