That item was too good to resist, Phreak.  ;)

I'm good, busy with travel and other things, but still around. Sorry we didn't get to meet up at any tailgates this past season.

Nice find, 64.  I had forgotten all about that Slip N Slide spoof that Kenny Mayne did last year.  :-D

I'm scared to look at this thread:

QuoteIs Obama proving a black man can be president?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

the brandon lloyd era is over

Quote23 catches for 365 yards in 2006 and two catches for 14 yards in 2007. He never caught a touchdown pass as a taterskin.

ice grillin you

im too lazy to look it up but id love to find out how much money lloyd made per catch as a skin

Lloyd cost $10 million SB, and two draft picks, plus $1.1 million salary during the two years that he played.
He caught 25 passes and no touchdowns.
Cost= $440,000 per catch.
Plus two draft picks.
The 2006 offseason, where they signed him, signed Archeluta and released Rocky McIntosh and let Antonio Pierce go might rank as the worst of the free agent period in the NFL.
And they still went to the playoffs this year.

in other words, dollars per touchdown - priceless

I have to admit, somehow pointing and laughing never gets old, even if it is like throwing rocks at the short bus

Samuels and Jansen restructered freeing up 6.3 mil in cap space. I think Lloyd counts for  5.5 in dead money.
"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.""  R.I.P George.

That should tell you something about Joe Gibbs.

Released McIntosh? I thought he was still with them.

That he has a zesty eye for spotting talent and had no idea what he was doing in the salary cap era

ice grillin you

lets see

pierce was let go in spring 2005
mcintosh was never released
archuletta was signed in spring 2006

2006 the taterskins went 5-11

this thread is a train wreck...lets concentrate on $440,000 per catch over a two year period
